About The Studio 

Hi my name is Vasko i’m a photographer welcome to my studio. This is my personal studio space. I’ve been using this spot for the past nine years for my photography business and after careful consideration I’ve decided to offer it as a rental studio for select projects. Message me below to inquire about booking the space.

This is a cozy studio perfect for small groups and product shoots. I have two large south facing windows that let in a lot of natural light and two giant 7’ umbrellas that can mimic natural window light when it’s cloudy. The studio comes with studio strobes and a wide range of light modifyers capable of creating any kind of lighting setup. Feel free to bring your own lights if that’s what you prefer working with.

The studio is located in Parkdale (Queen West & Lansdown) and is easy to get to by TTC and right off the Gardiner expressway if you’re driving. There is a lot of free parking on the side streets and a Green P lot next door. There is a pizza shop and a variety of food options next to the studio for those times when hunger strikes.

As this is my personal studio please note that I will be at the studio during shoots. If you need help setting up lights or need advice on what lighting setup would work best for you, feel free to ask.

Studio Rate

I am renting my studio space for $75/hour or $200 for a half day (4 hours) and $400 for a full day (8 hours). Lighting equipment and my assistance setting it up included. 50% deposit required to secure the space.

FAQ

Q: Do you rent your equipment outside of your studio?
A: No

Q: Is a deposit required to book the space?
A: Yes a 50% deposit is required to hold your spot.

Q: Do you rent cameras and/or lenses too.
A: No. Only my lighting and backdrops area available to use during studio rental sessions.

Q: Is there parking at your studio?
A: There is a lot of free parking on the side streets around the studio and two Green P parking lots close to the studio.

Q: Is there a change room at the studio?
A: Yes there is a bathroom at the studio that also serves as a change room

Q: If I cancel my shoot can I get my deposit back?
A:Deposits are not refundable unless you cancel two weeks before the shoot date. Here is the thing if you book my studio that means I have to turn down potential clients that want to book me on that date. I cant turn away clients and sit in an empty studio as well.

Q: How many people can your studio fit?
A: This studio is not that large. I’d say any more than 6 people in here while shooting and it start to get tight. If space is a concern let me know what you want to do and i’ll let you know if this space makes sense for your project.

Q: Do you allow pets in your studio?
A: It really depends on the pet and what is happening. Let me know what you had in mind and we can go from there.

Q: Are there places to eat around the studio?
A: Yes there is a variety of food options around the studio including vegan and vegetarian.

Q: I’m new to photography will you help me setup lights?
A: Absolutely. I have over 15 years experience with studio lighting I can work with you to help build your lighting setup. If you want to to learn more about studio lighting I can provide a private 1 on 1 teaching session. message me for details.
